A capacity field of 16 plus three emergencies has been declared for Sunday’s $250,000 Gosford Guineas.
The final field for the Listed 1200m event for three-year-olds was declared on Thursday and attracted a classy line-up including eight stakeswinners.
A number of the entries also accepted for races on Doncaster day at Randwick on Saturday with weather expected to play a role in which horses head where.
Nobby Snip, brilliant winner of his past two starts in stakes company, is set to line up in the Group One Galaxy (1100m) while Clarry Conners said he was still unsure where Satin Shoes would run as she dislikes wet ground.
African Pulse is second emergency in the Galaxy, while Aeronautical and Sacred Pins are also entered for the South Pacific Classic (1400m) on Saturday.
Group Two Autumn Classic winner Upbeat is one of two Gosford Guineas entrants for trainer Anthony Cummings along with last-start Canterbury winner Ain’t She Grand.
Upbeat has topweight with 59kg and has drawn barrier 14.
Stakeswinner and Group One placegetter Uate came up with barrier 18 with Hugh Bowman booked to ride.
Uate returned from a spell with an encouraging second to Title against older horses in the Listed Maurice McCarten Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill last month.
Gosford was rated a heavy (10) on Thursday.
